Khaled El Dardiry has over 18 years of experience in corporate, mergers & acquisitions, capital markets and cross border transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Khaled was the legal director of Orascom Construction PLC, OCI N.V. and Fertiglobe Holding Limited. He also worked with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton as an international lawyer, the public prosecutor office as a junior prosecutor and the Commercial International Bank (CIB) as a junior attorney.
While acting as in-house counsel for Orascom, Khaled was involved in several cross-border transactions including a JV between the company and Abu Dhabi National Company, listing of Orascom Construction PLC on Nasdaq Dubai and the Egyptian Stock Exchange and re-domiciliation of OCI SAE to the Netherlands through an Egyptian mandatory tender offer.
He has also worked with the Orascom Group on several financing transactions amounting to over US$ 10 billion in aggregate and sat on the board of different operating subsidiaries.
